KUO JUN-YOU

Born in 1998 in Nantou, Taiwan, KUO JUN-YOU currently works and resides in New Taipei, Taiwan. Kuo’s creative motivation often stems from an emotional intuition, seizing any available information such as textbook images, news reports, book words, or tangible materials as elements that contribute to his works. When non-logical elements are constructed in the composition, it initiates an activity of meaning. This approach to creation has become a bodily mechanism, reflecting the artist’s consistent way of thinking and a perspective on observing the world.
