KUO YEN-FU

Born in Taiwan in 1979, Kuo Yen-Fu graduated from the Taipei Physical Education College. Fascinated by painting since childhood, he has built a solid foundation in drawing. Deviating from conventional art school systems, the artist extensively references his past life experiences and emotions in his creations, resulting in bold and harmoniously free colors and unrestrained techniques. Whether the subject is suitcases, athletes, or film and television, they all stem from the artist's unique life experiences and simultaneously embody the collective memory within a specific era's atmosphere. In recent years, besides actively creating, Kuo Yen-Fu regularly holds solo and group exhibitions both domestically and internationally, with his works having been shown in China, South Korea, the United States, Italy, France, Spain, and other regions.
